Premier League back in Action

chelsea vs liverpoolThe Premier League weekend kicks off at 12:30pm this Saturday, as the champions from the last 2 seasons square up at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea hosting Leicester. Chelsea have already beaten the Foxes this season, triumphing 4-2 after extra time in the EFL Cup Third Round. That was one of three fixtures already this season in which Leicester have conceded four goals, and they’ve conceded at least one in each of the last 12 meetings with Saturday’s opponents. For these reasons it’s hard to see Chelsea not scoring in this one, and as such are 7/4 to score over 2.5 goals alone. Diego Costa has started this season in superb form, bagging 6 goals from the opening 7 league games, and he also scored Spain’s opener in Albania during the international break so is likely to make an appearance on the scoresheet at some point this weekend and as a result is 10/3 to score first.

arsenal vs aston villaAt 3pm new Swansea manager Bob Bradley has a tough assignment in his first fixture, with his team away at Arsenal. The contrast in form could hardly be bigger – Swansea have picked up a solitary point from their last 6 in the league and sit 2 points off the bottom in 17th, while Arsenal have won 5 consecutive league games to move up to third and within 2 points of top spot. The Gunners have actually won their last 4 games in all competitions without conceding a goal, and with Swansea’s attack hardly firing on all cylinders a clean sheet could be on the cards for the home side.

Man City will be looking to bounce back from their first defeat under Pep Guardiola’s leadership when they face Everton at the Etihad Stadium. That defeat to Tottenham is City’s only loss from their 7 league games so far, while Everton have also only tasted defeat once in the league this season, at Bournemouth in their last away fixture. Both teams should find the back of the net in this one – City have conceded in 6 of their 7 league matches so far and Everton have conceded in 5 of their 7, while both sides have only failed to score once making BTTS likely at 8/13.

The final game of the weekend is an absolute must-watch, with Liverpool and Manchester United, the two most successful sides in English football history, renewing their rivalry on Monday night. Liverpool have the better form going into this one, having won their last 4 league games while United have won just 1 of their last 4. However it’s United who have the upper hand in recent battles between the 2 sides, winning 5 league meetings in a row. This encounter should be close, with neither side wanting to lose early ground in the race for a top 4 finish therefore a double chance Liverpool or Man Utd would be a safe bet at 3/10. A cagey affair could therefore be on the cards, but there’s too much firepower in both teams to expect clean sheets as a result.

Champions League is Back – with Bet 365

manu vs leicesterTuesday sees Leicester City welcome F.C. Copenhagen to the King Power Stadium, The Blues have had a great start to their first Champions League campaign and currently sit top of group G with 6 points, with Copenhagen right behind them on 4 points. After week 2’s impressive 4-0 win against Club Brugge, F.C. Copenhagen, will be hopeful to continue with this success in their bid to take top position of group G. Leicester are yet to conceive in their Champions League campaign to date and are 10/3 with bet365 to keep another clean sheet on Tuesday, on the other hand both teams have been successful in finding the back of the net in both games prior to this so BTTS could also be likely at 4/6 also with bet365.

Also in Group G, Porto travel to Belgium as they face Club Brugge. Both will need to up their game in order to progress through to the Round of 16 with Porto on just 1 point to date and Club Brugge still yet to secure a point. Club Brugge haven’t had the best start to their campaign as they suffered a 3-0 home defeat to Leicester in their opening game followed by a 4-0 defeat against Copenhagen last month making their current goal difference -7 this being one of the worst across the board with Legia Warsaw the only team to have conceded more making for a goal difference of -8. An away win is most likely here at 1/1, if you did fancy Club Brugge finally securing themselves a point though they’re 5/2 to take a draw with bet365.

CS48130270Tottenham-Hotspurs-ChJPG-2286848Bayer Leverkusen welcome London team, Tottenham to the BayArena on Tuesday in a fixture which is likely to be essential to their progression within the Champions League. Tottenham currently host position 2 with 3 points whilst Bayer host position 3 and 2 points in current standings, making the outcome of this fixture likely to be the difference between round of 16 or not. Bayer are favourites to take their first win of their campaign at 11/10 though I wouldn’t rule out Tottenham in this fixture at the more attractive price of 13/5 at bet365.

Over in Spain sees title defenders, Real Madrid face the easier fixture of Legia Warsaw who are yet to obtain a point this Champions League season. Warsaw faced a 6-0 defeat against Dortmund in their opening game at home followed by a 2-0 defeat against Sporting F.C. in week 2, given this, over 2.5 goals from Madrid alone is more than likely at 1/6, for a more attractive price Madrid to score over 4.5 goals is 1/1 at bet365.

The highlight of week 3 is likely to fall to Barcelona as they welcome Man City. In the past Barcelona have always been successful in this fixture and will be likely to again take the win at 8/15. City opened their campaign with a 4-0 win against German team Mönchengladbach but were unable to hold onto a win in week 2 as they drew 3-3 to Celtic whereas Barca secured a 7-0 win in their opening game against the Irish team, week 2 saw a slightly surprising score for the Spanish team as they conceded 1 in a 2-1 win against Mönchengladbach. We’re likely to see a lot of goal action in this fixture so BTTS at 4/7 or over 2.5 goals at 19/40 will be popular choices.

ArsenalArsenal, who currently host joint top of group A with Paris SG, face Ludogorets whilst Paris face FC Basel. Both Arsenal (priced 1/6) and PSG (priced 1/5) are likely to take the win on Wednesday though a slip up from either team could be damaging towards their final Group standings.

Premier League Preview – Weekend Action with Bet 365

Everton 2014We have the third Friday night fixture of the season taking place this week as Everton welcome Crystal Palace. This is a game that promises goalmouth action at both ends with Everton only failing to score in 2 of their last 17 Premier League games at Goodison Park and had scored in all 5 of their league fixtures before last weekend’s shock defeat to Bournemouth. Palace themselves have found some form in front of goal, with 3 league wins in a row and 9 goals scored in those matches. Romelu Lukaku is a favourite to score first at 7/2, having scored 4 and assisted 1 in his last 3 league games and also scoring in this fixture in each of the last 2 seasons. For a bigger price, an away first goal by James McArthur is priced at 33/1 Alan Pardew has started to play the Scotsman in a more advanced position in recent weeks and its certainly paid off with him picking up 2 goals and an assist in his last 2 matches. The last two times these two teams met both resulted in a draw with the clash in March a ‘Bore Draw’ despite this, Everton are favourites to take the win at 8/11. Secure against a Bore Draw with bet365 by placing a pre-match bet on any Correct Score, Half-Time/Full-Time or Scorecast markets, if the game ends 0-0 bet365 will refund your stake!

On Saturday Chelsea’s visit to Hull will be of interest to plenty, Hull’s dream start to the season has turned into a nightmare, with just one point gained from their last 4 games and 9 goals conceded in their last 2. Chelsea have also come unstuck in recent weeks, losing 2 and drawing 1 of their last 3 league games after winning 3 from 3 at the start of the season, but they’ll be expected to get back to winning ways here priced at 1/2 with bet365.

manu vs leicesterIt’s a busy Sunday with 4 Premier League matches taking place, and kicking things off that day it’s Man United v Stoke City. Stoke picked up their first point since the opening day when they drew at home to West Brom last week, but 2 draws and 4 defeats from their opening 6 matches is a poor return for Mark Hughes’ men. Things could get worse on Sunday too, with Stoke up against a Man United side who last week scored 4 against last season’s champions at Old Trafford. The two teams last met in February earlier this year where The Red Devils succeeded with 3 goals to nil, prior to that however, Stoke took a home win with 2 goals to nil. A home win is more or less a cert given Stoke’s poor performance and is priced at 3/10 with bet365, should you fancy edging your bet a draw could be on the cards with Stoke desperate for any points they can get and is 19/4 with bet365.

The big game of the weekend is at White Hart Lane, where Tottenham host Manchester City. These 2 sides occupy the top 2 places in Man City 2014the league and are both undefeated after 6 games. Man City are averaging 3 goals per game in the league so far this season and have a great recent record against Spurs. Over the last 5 seasons they’ve won 7 of the league meetings between the sides, scoring 29 goals in the process. Tottenham did the double over City last season to give that statistic a little more respectability from their side, but the man to watch out for in this game is Sergio Agüero. He loves playing against Spurs, having scored 10 goals in 9 games against Sunday’s opponents. He has also bagged 5 goals in 4 league games so far in this campaign and in this kind of form will always be a strong contender for first goalscorer at 10/3 . Expect goals at both ends in this game though – both teams have scored in all but 2 of the last 10 games between the sides, so BTTS at 4/7 will be a popular choice.

US Open Tennis Preview

NovakThere is no doubting that Novak Djokovic is the finest player on the planet. He has mental strength beyond most sportsman and rivalling Muhammad Ali. His tennis is as well rounded as anyone who has every played the game. He simply makes less mistakes than any tennis player who has ever played the game and performs consistently at a level that few ever reach. He is the right favourite for this event  but is he a value 5/4 shot. We think not. He may well win but in this field he should be more like 2/1. He has enjoyed a break after the Olympics and may well have benefited from this but he just doesn’t look quite as hungry. I suppose that’s tough when you have over £100 million in the bank.

murray musclesThe thing is there are at least 6 people who can win this tournament and a few others who can knock anyone out on their day. These days guys go in to tournaments against the big 4 and just play flat out tennis from ball 1. Aiming at lines, power tennis and most fail because they cant maintain that level for 5 sets but every now and then one gets through and that’s why 5/4 about Novak and 7/4 about Andy Murray just isn’t good value when they take on 5 gun slingers before they get to the business end. Murray is tired. Why he played after the Olympics I will never know, apart from to acclimatise himself to the US but surely that could have been done more easily. So if these two aren’t value then there must be some more value elsewhere. There is!

Juan Martin Del Potro was immense against Murray in the Olympics and has to be backed at 20/1. Del PotroHe just didn’t have the match fitness or belief after so long off with injury. He will have come on for the run and his confidence (all important to him) will be high. He could bounce but I don’t think so.

We can also get 20/1 about Milos Roanic and one of these two will make the final so we have to back them each way at these prices. The other player that is fearless on the court and is steadily improving is Nick Kyrgios – he only needs to mature mentally and he will win. This might be the last time he is 66/1.

The York Ebor Meeting – Day 3 Preview

Its been two fabulous days and we have had our successes but day 3, weather permitting,  looks like its got our name all over it. So lets get punting.

david omeara1.55 Skybet Handicap 1 mile 4f

We are all over this race. Its just a great way to start the day. Gabrials King from the front nearly brought home the bacon for us at Haydock last time out and rather sadly has been put up 2lbs for that effort. Dawn Missile looks a likely type after finishing just 3l behind Oceane when 8th but our enthusiasm is tempered by a luck lustre performance last time out. It’s best left two two in this race. Stars over the Sea who dotted up last time and appropriately has been raised from 93-100 and will be on a lot of short lists and our other fancy Mijhaar for David O’Meara who has this 8yo in good nick after getting him from John Ferguson. He really could gobble these up.

trip to paris2.30  Wetherbys Lonsdale Cup 2 miles

What a great race this. I think we have backed every horse in this race bar Curbyourenthusiasm, at some stage. It would be ironic if he was the winner but he was behind Clever Cookie here in May and his latest Goodwood run was uninspiring so he wont be in our plans. We love Clever Cookie and he is a very good horse but we will have to be with the favourite, Trip to Paris who seems to have that rare commodity of the ability to stay and a turn of foot at the end of a gruelling race. That cant be ignored. His comeback run over 10f was amazing and he looks better than ever. This price cant last.

4 units win Trip to Paris @ 3/1 with Sportingbet

so beloved3.05 Sky Bet City of York Stakes 7f

Nemoralia should take all the beating and the form of his races has stood up well. Librisa Breeze was due to win one and did and the question here now is has he been at the top for too long. Birchwood looked backed to his best 2 back at Chester but then flopped at Goodwood with the suggestion that either the quicker ground or the 2nd running with the visor didn’t work. David O’Meara’s, So Beloved was only four lengths behind The Ghurka on his latest run and has to be respected over a trip that is his. On that form his price is just too big and cant be ignored.

2 units e/w So Beloved @ 9/1 with Betway

david griffiths3.40 The Nunthorpe 5f

I do hope the forecast rain stays away or doesn’t do enough to alter the going because this is a cracker. Take Cover for David Griffiths was sensational at Goodwood and his trainer said he had never had him better this week – his price is too big.  Limato was superb in the July Cup and I think he does have the speed for 5. Goldream has finally got his ground (if the rain stays away) and he really is quick and Profitable just keeps winning and beating horses that win thereafter. What a race.

4.20 Convivial Maiden 7f

Its a Maiden and they are tough but for us it has to be Black Trilby. Half a length behind Lockheed is better form that anything else we have seen from the others. So we will back Clive Cox’s horse.

4.55 Nationwide Handicap 1 mile

Two Chester winners feature heavily, Arcanada for Tom Dascombe and Viscount Barfield for Andrew Balding but we are going to look elsewhere in a very competitive race. Our eyes are drawn to the Clive Cox runner Bobby Wheeler whose last two runs look as good as anything this 19 runner field has achieved.

York Day 2 Preview

Day Two of this fabulous Festival is Ladies Day and we bring out some of the best fillies and mares on four legs to the Knavesmire, as well as some on two.

richard hannon jrWith twenty 2yo runners its a tough start at York again today but there appears to be little draw bias and so we will concentrate on those who look to have the most ability and could likely be expected to improve. It boils down to four Rainbow Mist for Anne Duffield whose York success over 5f in a C3 Hcp recorded a fine RPR and for whom this step up should suit. Stormy Clouds for Richard Hannon who has twice been second to Mrs Danvers who has excelled herself in the Super Sprint and then Listed company, Daniels Flyer for David Barron who looks a real improver waiting to happen and finally we have soft spot for Rusumaat, the Mark Johnston runner. Two against the field in this tricky pipe opener are

The Great Frankel

The Great Frankel

2:30        Sky Bet Lowther Stakes (Group 2) (Fillies) Cl1 6f

Two of the mighty Frankels, daughters turn out for this race and whilst Queen Kindly was only 3rd in the Albany  and then hacked up as she should at Catterick she is no back number to her more fancied half sister Fair Eva, who does look the real deal after demolishing the field in the Princess Margaret for Roger Charlton. Nations Alexander has done nothing wrong in winning the Sweet Solera after finsishin 3rd behind Roly Poly the Aiden O’Brien filly and in front of Kilmah. The other interesting horse is Fashion Queen for whom David O’Meara must see a bright future to throw her in so deep so early in her career. Its a good contest but it’s hard to look past the favourite. She just might be the weeks banker.

4 units win Fair Eva @ 1/2 with Betfred

david omeara3:05        Clipper Logistics Stakes (Handicap) Cl2 1m

Always a strong handicap and there are four who stand out on paper. Red Napoleon might well be lurking in the handicap for his trainer Ralph Beckett who can do no wrong currently and needs to be watched in the betting. Keith Dalgelish’s Lat Hawill looked like his turn wasn’t far away after finishing a good 2nd at Haydock and its possible after running at 10f and then 7f that Birdman might be back to a winning mark over the trip which sees him operate at his optimum for David O’Meara. The final one is Mustashry for Sir Michael and this horses defeat of Pirouette recently was shown to be even better after that horse was narrowly beaten in listed company. This might look a very attractive mark by 3.10pm.

Sir Michael Stoute3:40        Darley Yorkshire Oaks (British Champions Series) (Group 1) (Fillies & Mares) Cl1 1m4f

Seventh Heaven is the logical starting place after her recent Oaks victory in Ireland where she had three of these runners in behind, showing that her running at Epsom was all wrong and she will have to be at her best to lower the colours of Found who seems to have been on the go at the top level for quite a while against both sexes and only really giving best over shorter trips. Koora and Endless Time have place chances and are good fillies. For us the one they all have to beat is trained by the 9 times winner of this race, Sir Michael Stoute and its a horse who is peaking for this race, that being Queens Trust. Just in behind the brilliant Minding recently and a date with Frankel is on the cards if she wins this. Now there’s a thought! She is a big price in this race

2 units e/w Queens Trust @ 8/1 with Bet365

4:20        EBF & Sir Henry Cecil Galtres Stakes (Listed Race) (Fillies & Mares) Cl1 1m4f

We have it down to three in this race. Glamorous Approach, this daughter of New Approach for Jim Bolger who seems in and out but if “in” might be a handful, Tiptree for Luca Cumani who has a big future and if its not this race it will be soon and Abingdon, who we tipped up last time out and will definitely be ready for this race today, which we think was her intended target. It could be a big 45 minutes for Sir Michael

2 units win Abingdon @ 5/2 with Bet365

Mark Johnston4:55        eventmasters.co.uk EBF Fillies´ Stakes (Handicap) Cl2 7f

Opal Tiara is a horse we have followed from her juvenile days. She has ability and Mick Channon will be keen on her chances, at a big price handicapping might prove to be her bag. Mark Johnston’s Hawtif has ability and after back to back wins its unlikely the improvement has stopped yet. This trip and course look ideal. Charles Hill’s Jadaayil comes here after a quite a break from that maiden victory at Newmarket but must be a big player and Mustique is very interesting at decent prices after a encouraging 2nd last time out.

The Ebor – York – Day 1 Preview

york horses and standsThis is our favourite flat carnival of the year.

If the weather stays good the racing will be wonderful and the day 1 card could be the best of the 4 days with a fabulous Juddmonte International Field of 12 runners fro whom most could have a case made.

We have plenty of angles in to this meeting so lets get punting.

1:55        Symphony Group Stakes (Handicap) Cl2 5f89y CH4

This has only been run for 7 years and in that time no favourite has won the race. Its going to be tough to know what side of the course you need to be but when the ground is quick it doesn’t really matter so our short list includes Line of Reason for Paul Midgley, whose horses have been late coming to hand but this one hinted at a return last time out and looks feasibly weighted, david griffithsMedicean Man who at 10yo wouldn’t be the oldest to have won this race. Harry Hurricane who is at the other end of his sprinting career and may have a big future ahead of him, Ninjago who certainly has one of these in him, Lexingtom Abbey who has run well in defeat and Duke of Firenze who seems to be enjoying life with David Griffiths  a name who keeps producing winners big time sprint winners. That’s the winner in there somewhere, which one? We will have two against the field. Duke of Firenze who loves it here and looked back in nick last time out and Lexington Abbey who deserves one of these

2:30        Tattersalls Acomb Stakes (Group 3) Cl1 7f CH4

Mark JohnstonNot the biggest of fields in this race but nonetheless still a puzzle. Best of Days after 1 run, 1 win in a Sandown Maiden looks to have big aspirations and this could be a stepping stone. Courage Under Fire ran well behind Guineas favourite Caravaggio in Ireland but was still beaten 4 lengths, with 7f expected to suit more in this race than 6f on that day. We get an idea of how good the guineas favourite might be in this race. They paid £450,000 for Lockheed and his trainer William Haggas has won this twice in the last 10 years so he knows what is required to win it and finally Mark Johnston’s Bear Valley who won by 4l last time out and couldn’t have looked more impressive at Goodwood. He isn’t the favourite and that surprises us but we are with “The Bear”

adelaide curragh3:05        Betway Great Voltigeur Stakes (Group 2) (Colts & Geldings) Cl1 1m4f CH4

This is not the best or most competitive renewal of this race but as a betting medium we are quite excited about it. Idaho pushed Harzand hard in their recent meeting and showed why he is going to be hard to beat and we simply don’t think anything else in this race is capable of running to that mark on what we have seen. Across the Stars is a bit of an unknown but he has to improve nearly a stone to match Idaho’s latest effort and the other two Aiden O’Brien horses are 2nd and 3rd in the pecking order on what we have seen. I think we need to get stuck in now and make sure we get this price

Postponed3:40        Juddmonte International Stakes (British Champions Series) (Group 1) Cl1 1m2f88y

What a cracking race. Of the 12 runners I could make a decent case for nine of them but after closer inspection it gets easier. 3yo’s have won this 4 times in the last 10 years, 4yo’s 5 times and one 6 year old. For Postponed to win he would be the first 5yo. I don’t think that’s significant he might simply be the best 5yo that has run in this race. After all a lot don’t run after 4 do they. He certainly sets the standard. A standard that if at his best only one horse can beat and that is Hawkbill. He has the legs of the other younger horses and he gets a handy weight allowance for a horse who just looks bigger and stronger every time he races.

Frankie DettoriThis two miler comes with a wealth warning as it hasn’t been run a lot of times and we need to look at types capable of dealing with this sort of challenge. My four against the field are Nakeeta who has run some big races this year, Botany Bay who has the services of Frankie and looks like he was set up for this race, Oceane who could have a big future over this trip and perhaps not further and Sweet Selection who bids to make it a four timer and five wins from 7 races.

Richard Fahey4:55        Betway Stakes (Nursery Handicap) Cl2 6f

A notoriously difficult race to finish day 1, with four horses taking the eye. Naafer who is a courser and distance winner and clearly didnt enjoy Goodwood and is a lot better than that. Nautical Haven who also didnt like the tight turns of Chester – none of that to contend with here, Storm Cry who won well last time out at Ripon and The Wagon Wheel for whom Richard Fahey must think this mark is workable to pitch him in deep after a debut win in a 12 runner maiden at Beverley when he was very obviously green but will have come on for that run. We need to back two in this race

England vs Pakistan – 1st test Lords

Pakistans-Saeed-Ajmal-in--007I am sure nearly everyone knows that England are playing very good cricket at the moment and seem to have a balanced and effective team in all codes of the game. As they head in to the 1st test at Lords they go full of confidence and rightly so but how many know that Pakistan haven’t lost any of their last 5 test series and that amid some of the most difficult off field times for any team. They too behave like a team who believes and they are well schooled by Mickey Arthur and well captained by Misbah-ul-Haq who seems to have both respect and discipline within his ranks.

However for some in the Pakistan team a test at Lords is a big event and you cant help feeling this match will really shape the series, for whomever comes out on top. Pressure is something that gets to everyone and shuld Pakistan have to bat first then wickets may tumble quickly. True the same could be said for England with a “hotchpotch” batting line up with Root at 3 but there is no doubting that England bat a long way down and certainly further than Pakistan and in a match where I expect ball to dominate bat surely eeking out an extra 50 runs from 8-11 is going to be vital.

Jimmy AndersonThis game will be decided by the team that holds their catches and as strange as it sounds for that reason we need to be with England. They are a terrific fielding side as they showed last year here at Lords when they rifled out Australia with some amazing bowling and fielding. Of course Jimmy Anderson is a big loss. Who wouldn’t miss the best swing bowler in the world but England has a lot more fire power and its taller, makes the ball bounce more, straighter and more effective than Pakistan’s. They also bat deeper and better. Man for man they are better.

My man at Lords tells me the pitch will be “sporty” and that has to favour the home team. On sporty wickets everyone gives chances, drop a top order bastman and he makes 150 and then all out 180 becomes 340 and suddenly you are up against it. England will prevail and have to be backed.

The 145th Open Championship

postage stampRoyal Troon hosts this weeks Open Championship and the Ayrshire coast is set to give us a roller coaster of weather, if not too severe. We have tried to read weather forecasts in Scotland to find the draw advantage and in doing so completely forgotten who can play and who cant. So having looked in to the shipping forecast for South and North Utcera, Viking, Dogga and beyond, we have decided we will just forget about the weather all together and make sure we pick people who can cope. Our short list can and will this weekend.

mcdowellThe Open has had 3 of the last five winners all aged 40 and over but that isn’t something that means the young-uns cant win, its just that there are now more players over 40 playing than under 40 these days. And why not. Graeme Mc Dowell made a cheque for $120,000 for finishing 18th in the US Open – can you believe that!!! I would keep playing until my arms dropped off. He is one of our tips for this weekend as it happens. He finished 9th in the the 5th major, that being the Players Championship and last weekend was an unlucky 10th in Scotland. In both of those majors he hasn’t carded a score over par in any round this year and his putting looked like he was feeling as though they all should go in. He can play in any conditions and has won big and plenty of times.

sergio garciaSergio Garcia is our wild card. He simply hasn’t won the big one yet but that could all change. No one hits it straighter or has as much shot making imagination. He also looks relaxed and as though he is no expecting the ball to go in the hole rather than just hoping. he is also playing well at the moment. He is now starting to look like a winner again.

Chris Wood is a name that not a lot of people know but I have been following him for a couple of years since his strong showing in the Open at Birkdale a few years ago. He has a lot of game and whilst tall people aren’t normally good to go with in high winds he was brought up in tough conditions and has a game that doesn’t go off easily. We won the BMW in good style this year was 23rd in the US Open and took a week off after 11th in France to make sure he was spot on for this week.

Martin Kaymer is my Scandinavian pick. If you follow me you will know to leave Henrik out is awful for me but I think I have followed him over a cliff so Kaymer it is. He has two majors, a WGC and a Players Championship and he seems to get it so right in big events. He is the real deal and our Viking choice.

Jordan SpeithOur 5th and most confident pick against the field is Jordan Speith. The best golfer on the planet has been a little shaky – that is up until the Bridgestone where he finished 3rd and declared that he was striking the ball so well and could confidently hit it two different ways. he is already the best putter in the world so look out. His price is massive. He should be half what he is quoted at.

So, lets enjoy and get on some quality players for what is the best event of the year.
